The developers from Blizzard Entertainment have announced that team-based FPS Overwatch 2 will be having a PvP beta test in late April. Players can expect new heroes, maps, modes and more.
To bring players up to speed, the team shared a developer update video you can find above, featuring game director Aaron Keller detailing the new era for Overwatch 2. For once, the team plans on decoupling Overwatch 2’s PvP and PvE experiences from one another.
“Our first PvP Beta will begin in late April for PC in select regions. This closed beta will include a larger group of testers who we will ask to provide gameplay feedback. Our goal for this phase is to test our new features, content, and systems before we shift to stress-testing the servers with a wider player base in future Beta tests.”
