Overwatch 2 is preparing to kick off Season 12: New Frontiers on August 20th. Are you ready for an out of this world voyage? Then strap in, and let’s check out everything the game has to offer. Blast into action with the new Martian Support Hero Juno, a Mid-Year reset, Clash game mode featuring two new maps, divine Mythic Skins, and more.
Juno is the latest Support hero to join the roster in the new season. She is equipped with Pulsar Torpedoes that can lock onto multiple targets. Her Glide Boost ability allows her to swiftly maneuver the battlefield to provide critical support wherever she’s needed. Juno’s Hyper Ring propels the team into action, while her Ultimate Orbital Ray boosts damage and replenishes health.

Those who want to show off before their opponents can do so with the Mythic Anubis Reaper Hero Skin or the Mythic Midnight Sun Ana Weapon Skin. It will be the last thing your foes will witness before their demise. Progressing through the Battle Pass will unlock additional customization effects that will make these cosmetics even more impressive.
Season 12 is also bringing all-new Competitive Updates as Blizzard resets the ranks. Take advantage of the fresh start to fight your way up the Ranks. The devs are working on the “Avoid as a Teammate” feature to give players more ways to tailor their matching experience.
To further shake things up for Season 12, Overwatch 2 is in for some hero balance changes. In particular, the developers will reduce the health on multiple Damage and Support heroes.
New game mode: Clash will pit teams against each other in a relentless battle for dominance over multiple capture points. It features dynamic spawns and streamlined map routers to keep heroes on their toes and provide an adrenaline-pumping action experience. Players can explore the previously unavailable corner of the Temple of Anubis and take in the beauty of Hanaoka through the two new maps.
