Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous Revamps the Assassin Class

Developer Owlcat Games has taken to the Steam page of cRPG Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous to reveal the upcoming changes to the Assassin Class. It will arrive as a part of update 2.2 that will arrive on November 21st with The Lord of Nothing DLC.

The Assassin Class was suffering from relying on Poisons in a world where most enemies are immune to them. To ignore this immunity, the developers have added a number of new Mythic feats that will be available to players. Check out the Steam page reveal to learn more about the upcoming changes. The article details swapping Death Attack for Mark of Death as well as a new mechanic: Assassinate Target.

The Lord of Nothing DLC that will be arriving together with update 2.2 on November 21st continues the story of Through the Ashes. Explore new and unique locations, make new friends, and face a powerful demon lord to bring Sendri and Rekarth’s story to its long-awaited finale. It’s up to you to decide how it all ends.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous also teases the addition of 15 new archetypes, new spells and feats that await players, all of which will be available in the main campaign when creating a new character or retraining an existing one:

“In The Lord of Nothing DLC you will have to survive in the frozen lands, uncover the secrets of the mysterious wizard’s tower, help the Kellids in the blooming caves, and even look into the Shadow Plane! But you won’t be alone: an angel of Sarenrae with a tragic background and an enchanting new android companion will join you in confronting the evil flourishing in the remote corners of Golarion. And even the commander won’t be left behind — a new quest and dungeon will be available to complete in the fifth chapter.”

Last but not least, over on Reddit Owlcats introduced a new DLC-only companion for The Lord of Nothing: Penta the android. Freed from the influence of the Technic League, Penta will gladly join you during the journey. Tell us, what do you think of Penta? Perhaps some of you have already guessed the origin of her name?
