Starbreeze is inviting you to a Payday 2 VR beta event. You’ll have a great time playing a respected shooter along with the ability to channel your inner Pennywise.

You’ll be able to try out the game during the Locke & Load event starting on October 19th and running through October 28th. The team will be releasing daily updates as well as working with the community on improvements.
During the game, you’ll be able to team up with three other friends and work cooperatively to rob banks. Of course, there are more than a few stylish ways to do so including liberal use of explosives. Other features include full-body cover as well as the ability to use “lean mechanics” to shoot around corners.
The game is for now tailored for the HTC Vive headset and motion controllers. However, it’s unclear if it will be the only VR headset supported over time.
The VR addon will be coming for free, hopefully later this year. Check out the official site for more.
