About a week ago Amplitude Studios and SEGA have announced new upcoming DLC for Endless Space 2 (ES2) and Endless Legend (EL). Called Penumbra and Symbiosis respectively, those expansions have launched on January 24th. The developers have also shared gameplay trailers so you could see new features in action.
You can purchase both expansions in a bundle.
ES2 – Penumbra
The DLC introduces the long-awaited hacking feature, invisibility and the community-created faction: the Umbral Choir, who have been roaming the universe since the dawn of time, silent observers of the woes of the world. At last, they heard the death cry of the Endless Galaxy and decided to rush to the aid of those who suffered.
Penumbra is now available on Steam.
EL – Symbiosis
The DLC adds a brand new faction, The Mykara, as well as new colossal beasts known as Urkans. The Mykara originate from a unique stem city and overgrow points of interest to fuel their economy. While they cannot settle new land, they can turn conquered enemy cities into ghost towns from which they get bonus resources. Urkans are massive beasts that appear randomly around the map taking control of neutral land. To tame the creature, empires will have to bribe or defeat them in battle alongside their minions.
