Phantasy Star Online 2

In a recent tweet on their twitter account, the Phantasy Star Online 2 team has revealed that players do not have to wait long to get into the open beta for PSO2. In fact, open beta begins on Xbox One a week from tomorrow, on March 17th. While players can expect to get into beta and try out the North American release of Phantasy Star Online 2 on Xbox first, fear not, for PC players will also get their chance to play, with full cross platform support expected.

If you had the opportunity to play PSO2 in the Xbox Insiders closed beta, you don’t need to worry about download the client all over again.  Updates for the closed beta client will become available March 16th. If you are as excited as we are about the release of Phantasy Star Online 2’s western version, then we know you’ll be poised and ready to update the client as soon as it becomes available.  Any progress made during the open beta will not be wiped prior to the launch of PSO2, so play as much as you can, and get ready for more information regarding the full launch of Phantasy Star Online 2. We’ll see you on the Arks Ship!
