Phison PCIe Gen5 SSDs Tech Loads Into CES 2023

Phison PCIe Gen5 SSDs and controller tech is set to make an appearance at CES 2023, and while it’s hardly the coolest sounding pitch, the Taiwanese manufacturer is out to slash game loading times, whether its blasting through DOOM or lading a new level in Pathfinder.

At CES 2023, Phison will demo and introduce us all to a few niche products that could have a huge impact on loading times. The Phison E26 SSD controller will use proprietary I/O+ Technology to usher in a new evolution of gaming experiences. You should care because it’s likely this sort of tech will make it into larger devices using high-end NAND to deliver fast frags and lighting attacks while you head out on an adventure.

E26 with I/O+ Technology is Phison’s first flagship Gen5 SSD solution. With an emphasis on doubling the bandwidth and improving latency by 30% of its predecessor PCIe Gen4, PCIe Gen5 E26 enables new experiences and possibilities for gaming and digital content creation. Paired with the latest I/O+ Technology for enhanced sustained workloads, E26 is transcending performance levels to new heights.

If you’re looking to jump into the latest line of even faster SSD then check out the Phison partner page to take a look at the names already working away to bring the next generation of speed to PC boot times, including PNY, Gigabyte, and Crucial.
