Frontier Developments has announced an exciting DLC packs for Planet Coaster: Console Edition. Both the Ghostbusters pack and the Studios pack will be released on April 29th. Players can purchase the DLC for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
The Ghostbusters DLC is considered the “ultimate love letter to the hit movie”. Fans will immediately notice the familiar voices of Dan Aykroyd and William Atherton. The story, however, is completely new to keep things fresh for players. The DLC features “authentic scenery pieces aplenty and sound effects straight from the 1984 original, including the ECTO-1, Slimer, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the Ghostbusters HQ, and Spook Central”. These pieces can be used to create a new themed park that is sure to give thrills and chills to users.
The Studios Pack offers players tons of new game content for their parks including 90 new blueprints, hundreds of scenery items, construction pieces, and a trio of new rides.
- Big Screen Tour is a bus-based ride taking guests face-to-face with stars of the silver screen
- Re-Motion is a tracked sim-ride that uses robotic arms to tilt the ride in all different directions
- Horror Heights is a “chilling drop tower dark ride”
The Ghostbusters DLC retails for $14.99 while the Studios Pack is $9.99.
