Planet Zoo Introduces Players to Endangered Species in Upcoming Conservation Pack

Planet Zoo Conservation Pack

Frontier Developments has announced its next DLC pack for Planet Zoo. This time, the team is offering players a chance to immerse themselves in the topic of conservation and endangered species thanks to the Conservation Pack. This new content update will include new animals, new scenery pieces, a new timed scenario, and more. It will be available on Steam beginning June 21, 2022 for $9.99.

Here’s what players can expect:

  • Five new endangered animals: Przewalski’s Horse, Amur Leopard, Siamang, Scimitar-Horned Oryx, and the Axolotl
  • 150 new sustainability-inspired scenery pieces including a pollinator-friendly meadow, trees, maintenance props, environmentally-friendly buildings, etc.
  • A new timed scenario set in the Mongolian-inspired backdrop. Players must work to protect endangered species before time runs out. Zookeepers will need to rescue, rehabilitate, and release these animals among other things

Of the upcoming Conservation Pack, Executive Producer Steve Wilkins said, “The team are honored to be able to bring Planet Zoo players closer to some of the world’s most endangered animals and to highlight the important role of zoos in animal protection and education. We hope that the educational value of the game can contribute to the wider message around conservation and habitat preservation.”

There is also a free update that brings a range of extras and improvements such as animal chorus behavior for some species, interactive education stations, and a new climbing environment.
