Planet Zoo Updated with Patch 1.8 and the Europe DLC

Frontier has announced that the Europe DLC for Planet Zoo has launched as of on Tuesday, December 14th. The new content is now available on all platforms for $9.99. Alongside the paid DLC, all players have received the free 1.8 update that brings a number of changes to the base game.

The Europe DLC has arrived just in time for the holidays and is packed with over 250 pieces of winter scenery “inspired by some of Europe’s most idyllic destinations”. In addition, five new animals are being introduced to the game including the Eurasian Lynx, the Alpine Ibex, the European Badger, the European Fallow Deer, and the Fire Salamander.

An array of winter scenery provides zookeepers with the perfect opportunity to transform their zoos into mesmerizing winter wonderlands for the festive season, and capture the charm of the continent’s famous Christmas Markets. With over 250 pieces of spectacular scenery inspired by some of Europe’s most idyllic destinations, including France, Italy, Switzerland and the Netherlands, zookeepers can delight their guests and get creative juices flowing with a wide variety of décor styles, lighting, and foliage.

Update 1.8 includes a range of extras and improvements including burrowing, animal memorials, customizable restaurants, and much more.
