Good Shepherd Entertainment has announced that ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun has been released on Nintendo Switch. A work of passion by indie developer ThirtyThree, the 2D action platformer’s name tells you all you need to know: a big gun controlled with only two buttons is all you have to jump and gun through deadly traps and obstacles as you run non-stop through 120 levels of pure chaos. The “twisted space-opera full of bizarre characters and pulp sci-fi storytelling,” comes complete with neon-infused retro graphics and synth soundtrack.
Also available on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android, the Switch edition of ATOMIK: RunGunJumpGun debuts the new Shield Mode, slowing things down to “make the game’s intense action more manageable, but no less heart-pounding and exciting.”
