Looking for something to do this weekend? If so, you may be interested to hear that Techland’s Dying Light is free to play on Steam all through Sunday in celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary. The weekend event even includes the brand new Story Mode that should offer players a lot of gameplay goodness.
Techland developers have a number of events scheduled for the event. All players can join in the fun from now through Sunday, February 23rd at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern when the festivities end. In addition, progress will be saved for anyone who chooses to purchase the game‘s fifth-anniversary bundle with its heft 67% discount. While the free play event is only for PC on Steam, the bundled version of the game and the big discount are available on all platforms including PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The special bundle includes the base game, the Harran Ranger DLC, an exclusive outfit, and a special paint theme for the buggy. A second DLC package that includes upgraded blueprints for a pair of weapons and a double-barreled shotgun is available for $3.
