Fatshark unleashed the free Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Devious Delvings update, full of scheming skaven infesting PC and console.
They’re in the walls! The Skaven are everywhere in the latest free update to the Vermintide sequel. The co-op skull bashing brawler got the second in a trio of Skaven centric additions last night, and our heroes are heading down in for some extermination. Devious Delvings is the middle chapter in a three-part adventure, Verminous Dreams. After discovering an Elven temple overrun by Skaven, this narrative ventures deeper into tunnels under the temple to uncover what the Skaven are planning.
Readying up will find a new map unlocked for anybody out to fend off the nefarious rats. Giant caverns and busy mineshafts sprawl out underground, with deviation and machinery sprawled among the creaky construction. Like other maps, the new update adds a bunch of extra challenges and rewards, such as a portrait frame and paintings.
