Point and Click MMO Arrives on Brighter Shores Today

Brighter Shores - players fighting and gathering in the forest

Andrew Gower’s MMORPG Brighter Shores begins Early Access on Steam today.

Point and click fantasy Brighter Shores arrives in Early Access today, via Steam. Player can leap into a new world today , join the Hopeport town guard, and head out on an enchanting adventure.

Initially announced earlier this year, the land of Adothria unlocks today with a whole world of adventure ahead. The Early Access launch invites players to join the guard, pick a class, work your profession, and discover an ongoing story. Designed by Andrew Gower, RuneScape’s co-creator, and the team at Fen Research, this new MMO is ten years in the making and aims to slay the grind.

There’s a familiar look and feel to this tale that aims to snatch you out of Gielinor. Beyond the point and click combat systems, an ancient magic unlocks the power of the Cryoknight, Guardian, and Hammermage classes and a corruption spreads in the wilderness. As you can imagine, big things are afoot for you when you take on this evil. However you choose to tackle the terrors that linger in the forest, you’ll also be able to peddle your wares as a Fisher, Forager, Chef. Woodcutter, Miner, Alchemist, Stonemason, Merchant, Blacksmith, and more. Even when you’re idling, there’s an opportunity to progress your craft.

Today’s Early Access launch is accompanied by a recruitment trailer, so players leaping in can find out what life in the local guard looks like. Brighter Shores is free to play, with a Premium Pass model that unlocks extra stories, professions and places to explore. There’s no need to put any money down until you are sure. Try your hand at a new MMO from a very capable team later today if you fancy a new adventure. Brighter Shores is available over on Steam
