Pokemon Go can be played from the safety of your own home

Pokemon Go

It’s a weird world we live in these days with quarantines and self-isolation due to COVID-19. But all is not lost, especially if you’re a gamer. One company is helping pass the long hours at home by making one of the most popular games ever even more accessible. Niantic has announced that it has made a number of temporary changes to Pokemon Go to keep people collecting but safely.

Here are some of the biggest changes:

  • For the foreseeable future, players will find that hating eggs is much faster and easier with fewer steps required in order to bring a bouncing baby into the world.
  • Pokestops will offer more rewards for every visit and Pokemon spawn rates have been increased.
  • Incense prices have been reduced to 1 PokeCoin. These items help lure in even more Pokemon for up to an hour making collecting even more efficient from home.

In addition, Community Days starting with March’s have been canceled to keep large groups of folks from gathering to participate in special Raids and collecting more exotic creatures.
