Pokemon Go is inviting players to get wet during the Water Event. From now to March 29th, several water types are easier to find including the ever-elusive Lapras.

During this week long event, Magikarp, Squirtle, Totodile along with their evolutions are easier to find. In fact, these damp fellows are just waiting for you to find em. Even ol’ Lapras will be easier to find alongside all the other water babies.
Also, starting later today, you’ll notice a new avatar wardrobe item—the Magikarp Hat!
