Pokémon GO Lifetime Revenue Surpasses $3.6 Billion

Pokémon GO initially launched on July 6, 2016, and has just turned 4 years old. According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence estimates, in that time the game has seen 576.7 million unique downloads worldwide and the global revenue surpassed $3.6 billion.

The most lucrative year for Pokémon GO was 2019, with the game generating $905 million globally. The previous best year was 2016, the year of the game’s release.

  • In terms of the generated revenue, the United States come first, Japan ranks №2 and Germany rounds up the top three.
  • Downloads-wise, the US comes first with 105.2 million installations or 18.2%. Brazil ranks second with about 63 million downloads and Mexico ranks №3 with 36 million installs.
