Population Zero Trailer Explores an Alien World

Enplex Games has released a brand new trailer ahead of its Steam early access release on May 5th. Called “Gravity”, the trailer “lays the groundwork for the life of the player as they try to survive the harsh wilds of the planet Kepler”. Fans of the indie-pop artist “Naadia” will also enjoy an original tune called “Movement” that overlays the action.

Enplex has also published a brand new developer diary that explores several of the game modes. Whether players are looking for coop PvE action or are ready to test their mettle against other players in brutal PvP combat, the game is ready to provide for both. As players progress through account levels, more game modes will unlock. For instance, those who wish to engage in PvP will only need to complete a few short quests to introduce the game that will push them to Account Level 2 where PvP mayhem is unleashed.

As players move through Account Levels, they will unlock additional modes for both PvP and PvE:

  • “Alternative PvE mode will offer a different questline with an unexpected plot twist and 150% XP bonus for completing the cycle.”
  • “PvP hotheads will enjoy the ultimate challenge of the Ironman Mode with permadeath which turns Population Zero into a roguelike experience. Those who survive will get a 500% increase in account experience.”
