PowerA has just announced that its Fusion Pro Wireless Controller for PlayStation 4 has just hit shelves and this handset might very well be worth grabbing.

While many of us are getting a little fixated in bagging the next generation of Playstation systems, the venerable Playstation 4 and PS4 Pro still has plenty of life left in it yet and for those of us that want something a bit more premium between our palms, the new Power A Fusion Pro Wireless controller looks like it might be a very wise buy. Available now online and in stores, this shiny new PlayStation 4 controller is designed to meet the needs of any discerning gamer and comes officially licensed by Sony.

Added Extras

It features a range of enhancements above PowerA’s more basic models, one of which is scattered across my own desk, including a mappable Pro Pack on the back that gives players the ability to assign button actions on-the-fly to the four removable paddles. For instant action in MMOs or fighting games, this could save your skin. The included 3-way trigger locks can also be adjusted for the perfect response while the magnetic impulse triggers provide enhanced precision feedback during gameplay so you can react in better time to everything going on.

There’s plenty of customization included in the Fusion Pro Wireless, with swappable analog sticks, anti-friction rings, and even a racing clip that I’m dying to give a try in Hotshot Racing’s new DLC. When you’re not using the racing clip, the rest of the controller is designed with ergonomics in mind with ALPS analog thumbsticks, a soft rubberised grip and a form factor that sits somewhere between the traditional blocky PlayStation 4 controller and the new PlayStation 5 DualSense that you might have seen in stock.

Coming in at £99.99 or local equivalent, the PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless controller also manages to cram in everything you’d expect from a top of the line controller with motion sensors, dual rumble motors, touch pad, lightbar LED, built-in speaker plus share, PS, and options buttons throughout. The PowerA Fusion Pro Wireless is available now, for more details check out the official website now.
