Valve has taken to Steam to reveal the upcoming Open World Sale to celebrate the infinite exploration. The multi-day event celebrating games featuring the open world mechanic will be running between May 27 and May 31.
The sale will highlight many sub-genres and styles of open world games and while featuring livestreams of participating Steam games.
The developers mention that in order to participate, games should be associated with a Steamworks developer account in good standing, be tagged as Open World, released on Steam before May 27 and offered to customers at a discounted price or for free during the event.
