Prepare lots of room for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC

Preloading is now available for Red Dead Redemption 2 ahead of its launch for PC on November 5th via the Rockstar Games Launcher. Be prepared for a huge download as it requires a whopping 150 GB of free drive space. Not only is it a space hog, but it will require time to download for those with less-than-stellar internet speed. However, it’s worth the time and space to be prepared for zero-hour in order to get into rootin’ tootin’ action ASAP.

While you’re at it, you may want to make sure your PC is up to speed. Check out the minimum and recommended specs:

Players can expect a number of improvements and enhancements for PC. “New graphical and technical enhancements for deeper immersion include increased draw distances for better navigation; higher-quality global illumination and ambient occlusion for improved day and night lighting; higher quality snow trails, improved reflections and deeper, higher resolution shadows at all distances; tessellated tree textures and improved grass and fur textures for added realism in every plant and animal.”
