A New Dragon Ball Experience is Unleashed Upon the West in the First Super Dragon Ball Heroes Game to Release Outside of Japan
Leading video game developer and publisher, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., today announced that Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission will be available in the Americas on April 5, 2019 for Nintendo Switch™ and PCs via STEAM®. SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION is a tactical RPG card game that will be the first Dragon Ball Heroes series game to be released outside of Japan, challenging Dragon Ball fans in the Americas with its stimulating and strategic gameplay.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes takes place in Hero Town, an alternate reality where a Dragon Ball card game is the most popular form of entertainment that’s played both at amateur and professional levels. Players take the role as Beat, the protagonist of the game, and follow his journey to become the world champion of Super Dragon Ball Heroes. However, when the antagonists from the virtual game world appear in Hero Town and start wreaking havoc, Beat jumps into the game world and teams up with famous Dragon Ball characters to restore peace in the real world.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes includes an original story that features well-known Dragon Ball characters from various series such as Dragon Ball Super, Xenoverse, GT, and more, as well as brand-new characters designed by Toyotarou-sensei, the mangaka (manga creator) of Dragon Ball Super.
“Super Dragon Ball Heroes is a one-of-a-kind experience that will surely captivate Dragon Ball fans,” said Mark Religioso, Brand Manager at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. “This is the first time a Super Dragon Ball Heroes series game has been slated for release for fans outside of Japan and we are excited to present this series and genre of Dragon Ball games to western audiences. The strategic gameplay will surely delight every Dragon Ball fan who loves a challenge.”
Super Dragon Ball Heroes will be available for the Nintendo Switch and PCs via STEAM on April 5, 2019.
