Prey Launch Trailer & Massive Day One Patch Plans

Bethesda is unleashing the Prey launch trailer on the world today. Players can get hands on the game starting May 5th on platforms including PC, PlayStation 4 & XBox One.

Prey Launch Trailer & Day 1 Patch

The launch trailer takes you inside the Talos I space station where you find out that things are going terribly wrong. The ship is under attack by aliens and it’s up to you to stop them. The video does an amazing job showing off the game’s creepy side.

As Morgan Yu, and mankind’s last hope, fend off the alien infestation armed with the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities. It’s up to you to uncover the mysteries of Talos I and safeguard the world from the Typhon threat.

Bethesda also has plans for a Day 1 patch that fixes audio and sound issues as well as several other smaller bugs. You will want to be sure to have a lot of free hard drive space as the patch weighs 1.3Gb. Many of the issues addressed came as a direct result of player feedback from the demo. The game’s first hour was released in demo form for console users over the past weekend.

You can head to to see what the patch contains exactly as well as in what areas. Here’s a bit of what you can expect:

Certain enemies were able to shoot through walls, but can no longer do that. There’s also some balance fixes for the powers you have access to, and a few AI adjustments for a more consistent experience across the different difficulties.
