Rayless Blade Meets Kickstarter Campaign Funding Goal

Rayless Blade Meets Kickstarter Campaign Goal

Rayless Blade, a pixel-art open-world RPG inspired by HLD and Undertale, has met its Kickstarter Campaign goal. The developers have been looking to raise $15k in order to bring the game to PC via Steam, and now have moved onto stretch goals with two more weeks remaining until the campaign wraps up.

“Thank you so much, everyone! Bringing this project to life has been a dream of ours for several years. Now, we have the funding necessary to buckle down and make it a reality! Once again, it’s all thanks to our lovely backers, all of you, and especially… THE ONE. Now, we move forward. Onto the stretch goals! After some deliberation due to high demand, we’ve decided to move the switch port goal to $25k! That will be official soon!”

In Rayless Blade, the protagonist awakens from a deep, long slumber with no memories of their past. Nobody remembers them, and the hero sets out to travel across the island and become familiar with the current state of the world. Those who rule it will oppose you in secrecy. Opportunities to uncover your past’s secrets will present themselves to you. Realization will set in; your lost memories aren’t simply a case of amnesia.

The developers promise dynamic and turn-based combat with the team you’ve assembled to defeat multiple enemies at the same time. As you explore the overworld, you will come across enemies and will be faced with the decision to either fight them or flee. Some of the encountered enemies will be passive while others are aggressive and will pursue the player to attack.

Players will be able to explore a multitude of diverse hi-bit pixel art style biomes with Hyper Light Drifter inspired aesthetics; each with their own unique set of enemies to defeat, characters to enlist, rare items to loot, and puzzles to solve.
