Ink-style action roguelite Realm of Ink recently received a major November update, introducing many changes that the developers had promised in the roadmap to v1.0. Some of the new additions included the new Ink Gem system, special perks, Jade Ink Store, new difficulty, and more.
Now, the game is in for a new Early Access Patch 8, available now and fixing certain known issues:
Newly added:
- Added a new item “Mythical Perk” that can be unlocked at “Divine Decree of the Peach God”. Unlocking it will make Legendary Perks (including “Primordial Ink”) purchasable from Dr. Lao in the first level of Snowy Sanctuary
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where player’s buff icons would disappear after handing over Primordial Ink
- Fixed a bug where Miss Lee Form’s Ability “Focused Shot” would incorrectly launch 3 pieces
- Fixed a bug where aim assist didn’t take effect for Miss Lee Form’s Ability “Ready to Strike”
- Fixed a bug where loading a save data would occasionally cause some buffs to disappear
- Fixed some textual errors
- Fixed a bug where “Frostcleave Blade” would occasionally trigger player’s evade text at the wrong time
About Realm of Ink:
The heroine of the game, Red, unexpectedly discovers she is just a fictional character within the short story when hunting the Fox. Only by unlocking the dark secrets will she defy her own destined path.
As you play through the game, you will progressively unlock more characters. Red and others discover that they are just fictional characters in Realm of Ink. Everything seems to be destined: the old world will collapse while a new world is forming, and the awakened spirits will be meant to reshape their true selves amidst countless cycles of destruction.
