A Danish games retailer may have inadvertently leaked the exact release date for Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2. This is the same bunch that leaked the Grand Theft Auto V console release months ahead of the announcement.
Can lightning strike twice? We’ll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, you can start polishing your spurs, pardner. According to Coolshop, you’ll be able to start moseyin’ in the Ol’ West starting June 8, 2018, a date that is still technically “Spring” since it officially ends in late June.
We’ve known for awhile that the game would be out in the nebulous “spring 2018“, but this, if true, pins things down nicely. In addition, this gives Rockstar plenty of time to start preorders and build (even more) hype for the game.
Who remembers this Danish Retailer who revealed the #GTAV (PS4/XB1) Release date months before its announcement?
They’ve now listed Red Dead Redemption II to release on June 8th 2018.

Red Dead Redemption 2
Here’s what we know about the game that has been kept under pretty tight wraps at Rockstar:
Red Dead Redemption 2 is a western action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective, featuring single-player and online multiplayer components. The story follows outlaw Arthur Morgan and his Van der Linde gang.
We’ll keep you posted as the story develops. In the meantime, have a trailer:
