Soma Games and Forthright Entertainment have announced a slight delay in releasing two of its Redwall-inspired games. Both The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology and The Lost Legends of Redwall: Feasts & Friends will be released on February 20, 2024. The development team cited the need for more time to ensure the game is up to the standard players expect. The extra time allows them to polish the game further and squash annoying bugs that may crop up.
The games are based on one of the most beloved children’s book series ever written. Over twenty million copies of the books have been sold in physical book form and via audiobooks. Even an opera has been produced. Soma and Forthright say these two new games will fit nicely into the franchise and will be “complimentary to it for fans in the new year.”
