Relax! Fortnite is back with Chapter 2 & a whole new world to explore

Fortnite fans who’ve been going through withdrawal for the past couple of days after the unexpected shutdown of the game can now relax. Game servers are back up after a 2-day outage that took the player community by surprise even though Epic had been teasing “something big” for a few days beforehand. Enter Fortnite Chapter 2.

The good news is that players have SO much to look forward to with today’s launch of Chapter 2: Season 1. There’s a brand new island map for players to explore alongside four brand new characters. Players will also find a new fishing feature and even swimming for those who need a quiet break from the killing. There is so much new that players will be busy for quite a while.

Some things that have already been discovered:

  • Bandage Bazooka to heal friends;
  • new weapons;
  • upgraded combat;
  • skins;
  • boats;
  • haystacks to hide in;
  • explosive barrels;
  • “more fun, less grind”;
  • secrets, secrets, secrets to discover!

You can check out the patch notes on the Fornite official site.
