Capcom has made a sad announcement for fans looking forward to Resident Evil Re:Verse, the retooled version of the original game. According to a new Twitter post, the game is now delayed to 2022 with no more specific information offered.
The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. pic.twitter.com/o8hP363fjR

The team is offering to update release information at a later time but it remains to be seen when that may happen.
Re:Verse was originally slated to be released this month.
Capcom has been having a rough time lately with RE: Village’s multiplayer mode not making it for launch and now the multi-month delay of Re:Verse.
