There’s tons of excitement around the upcoming release of Resident Evil Re:Verse and Capcom is further fanning the flames with the announcement of the open beta dates for the game. Players will be able to take part in a special event that will run from April 8th to April 11th. Open beta client downloads will begin on April 5th.
As with the earlier closed beta event, open beta players will need to have a couple of things in place in order to take part. First off, a Capcom ID is required as well as a device on which to play. PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One, and Xbox One X are all supported platforms and will be usable during the open beta. If players took part in the CBT in January, they will not need to re-download the client.
Open beta testing will be examining several key components ahead of the game’s launch. These include balance, servers, and the overall game system. Players are being warned in advance that unexpected maintenance may occur.
