Respawn Teases Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order

Edit: Amazon has started selling Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order themed T-shirts before the event in Chicago kicked off. Even though the mistake was fixed, the Internet doesn’t forget. Check out the print below!

Respawn’s mysterious Star Wars project titled Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order holds the attention of the fans.  Currently, there is not much confirmed about the upcoming game. According to Respawn’s Vince Zampella, the events of the game will be taking the players to the “dark times” when the Jedi were being hunted down. Timewise, it is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope.

What could “Don’t Stand Out” mean? The community is starting the debates already!

We won’t have to wait long to find out. Electronic Arts via their Twitter have revealed that Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order will make an appearance at Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, April 13th, 11:30 am Pacific / 2:30 pm Eastern.

EA has also revealed the following: “We’re keeping almost all story points a secret so no one gets spoiled. Celebration will be the first time you learn main details, but we can confirm you’ll be playing as a (former) Padawan of the Jedi Order.”

The Star Wars blog confirms this information: “The game, set to be released later this year, will follow a Padawan trying to survive as the Empire rises following the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and the defeat of the Jedi Order.”

Update: Star Wars Jedi: The Fallen Order is utilizing Unreal 4 Engine instead of the expected Frostbite.

The blog post on the official Star Wars site also reveals a little more about what we see on the teaser image above:

A badly damaged lightsaber hilt sits atop ancient symbols from a bygone age, emanating a faint blue glow reminiscent of the power the elegant weapon once held.

In the first image from the forthcoming action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, we get our first glimpse at the galaxy in the aftermath of Order 66.
