Reverse: 1999 – Check Out Laplace Scientific Computing Center Trailer

The developers of time-traveling RPG Reverse: 1999 have shared a new trailer that is dedicated to the Laplace Scientific Computing Center that totally does not consist of mad scientists. Imagine a place where technology and arcane arts don’t just coexist, but are joined hand-in-hand to forge the future with technology.

Within this ivory tower, humans and arcanists collaborate to make every idea proposed, and every action taken is to challenge the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary. This organization is incredibly important to the plot of Reverse: 1999, and will only matter more once Version 1.9: Vereinsamt becomes available on September 19th on Mobile and PC. It also coincides with the game’s first anniversary!

Players will be able to recruit a brand-new 6-star arcanist: Lucy. Her design is inspired in part by Metropolis, the classic sci-fi film by Fritz Lang. You can also learn more about her through the Character Story “Flying to the Past”. She crosses rivers, boarding small boats, enduing the lengthy voyages of time, without ever looking back, until she merges back into the sea, and the waterbirds take flight.

Kakania is also due a Character Story – “Through the Glass”. From a merciless destruction, from the fragments of yesteryears, she sees truth. Her banner will be available in the second half of the patch.

But if the continuation of the main story, new 6-star arcanists, and a couple of character-related stories are entirely not enough, there’s a new game mode to look forward to as well! “A Series of Dusks” is a roguelike mode that will bring a brand-new free 5-star character Lorelei, and plenty of other rewards.
