Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery Has Two Slick New Trailers

Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery, the new tactical RPG that reworks the Origin of Girl’s Frontline, just fired off a slick looking new CG Trailer and a separate glimpse of the upcoming gameplay mechanics.

Mixing in CG story elements and an extensive gameplay preview, XD Inc and Sunborn Network just dropped a pair of previews for the upcoming tactical RPG, Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery. Giving us a glimpse of the story behind the new adventure in the Reverse Collapse universe, the CG trailer joins central protagonist Jefuty as they set foot into a brutal war and begin a treacherous journey. As they attempt to survive this tale, the CG trailer also introduces a brand new face, Sugar. This seemingly amenable addition to the game’s rooster isn’t as easy going as they initial seem, and potential players can find out more above.

For those that are ready to check out the in game action ahead of the full release of Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery, a new gameplay trailer is available to play through too. Taking elements from the previous Code Name: Bakery Girl instalment and making some significant changes, Reverse Collapse includes an innovative backtracking ability for Jefuty, with which she can reverse back to previous levels and discover clues to advance. This major twist on established mechanics is shown off in the second trailer and accompanied by a look at new special combat forms: terrain killing mechanism, stealth gameplay, and enemy infighting. These are just some of the in game changes that ensure this is an engaging and fresh take on this universe for existing fans of the 2013 original.

If you’re looking forward to the release of this remake, follow XD on Twitter and check out the game on TapTap before Reverse Collapse: Code Name Bakery arrives on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile.
