RFM Presses Play On PC & Consoles Next Year

Indie Studio Bromio has announced it is set to press play on RFM, a stylish futuristic roguelike coming to PC and Consoles next year.

We first got a hint of Bromio’s RFM way back in June this year but after some development time, it seems the indie studio behind Pato Box is ready to turn up and show off their latest experience in 2022. The announcement of a release window for this upcoming roguelike also introduces us all to a ten-minute gameplay introduction and a glimpse of RFM.

Like many roguelike games, RFM is built around runs and you’ll need to figure out the best way to approach the challenges that await. Unlike many other dungeon crawlers, however, RFM is stylish retro-future ake on these ideas, allowing players to immerse themselves in an aesthetic that seems heavily inspired by the Persona world but a few steps removed to a more top down tactical perspective. While battling through, adventurers can l play, pause, plan, and ride the frequencies between worlds, using skills to control Morgan. This dimension diving merc slips between the cracks in reality at the behest of various factions, all looking for a way to exploit these new territories.

With a colorful cast, a killer soundtrack, and a different dive every time, we’re already looking for a chance to meet more of Morgan. For now, you can check out more about this super stylish new title over on the official Steam Store page, and as part of Steam’s Next Fest from this Friday.
