Riot Announced New Pentakill Album III: Lost Chapter

The developers from Riot Games have announced a new full-length Pentakill album III: Lost Chapter. Pentakill is a virtual heavy metal band from Riot’s MOBA League of Legends that consists of in-game characters. The 10-track album will feature Pentakill’s signature face-melting metal songs of glory and destruction as they traverse a range of metal subgenres in their quest to enter new sonic realms behind the galvanizing vocal force of Karthus and Kayle, gargantuan riffs by Mordekaiser (Master of Metal), brutal bass lines by Yorick, keyboardist Sona’s enchanting harmonics, and thunderous beats by drummer Olaf.

“We’re excited to showcase the next stage of Riot’s expansion into music,” said Toa Dunn, Head of Riot Games Music. “Pentakill will expand on how we drive deep, connected narrative experiences around our musical releases and will showcase that we aim to push the envelope in storytelling and artistry wherever we can.”

III: Lost Chapter will be available on all major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and more on September 8th. Fans can pre-save the album to their playlist in advance of the release.
