Riot Reveals League of Legends Project: Bastion Event

Riot Games has announced the next in-game event for its blockbuster MOBA, League of Legends. Project: Bastion will is slated to begin on May 27th and run until June 28th across several game patches. Players will be able to collect a whopping seven new skins as well as take part in the fan-favorite Nexus Blitz, and much more.

During Project: Bastion, players will collect Bastion event tokens that can be traded for skins that tie into the theme of the event. The Project alternate universe is the star of the show and each champion’s skin reflects that. Mordekaiser, Renekton, Sejuani, Senna, Varus, and Sylas who receives a base and prestige skin. A second prestige skin will be announced during patch 11.13 and will cost 100 Prestige points.

Riot wrote, “The battling factions players have met in the past must now band together against a new threat activated by the mysterious Program virus.”

In addition to the skins, players can also earn borders, loot, icons, and emotes if they choose to purchase the Project: Bastion battle pass.
