Riot Games Unexpectedly Launched Ruined King & Hextech Mayhem

Just earlier this week I was complaining about the lack of single-player Runeterra experiences to indulge while waiting for more Arcane, and Riot unexpectedly released two titles for PC and consoles: Ruined King and Hextech Mayhem.

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story is developed by Airship Syndicate, and is now available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store. The game is also backward compatible on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, and a version of the game for those consoles will release in the future, with a free upgrade path available.

In Ruined King: A League of Legends Story you will unite a group of unlikely Champions to stop a threat against two regions of Runeterra. Bilgewater, a bustling port city that is home to sea monster hunters, dock gangs, and smugglers from across the known world; and the Shadow Isles, a land cursed with the deadly Black Mist which shrouds the island and corrupts those it comes in contact with. In order to defeat a common and mysterious enemy, players will form an unlikely party of beloved League of Legends Champions – Miss Fortune, Illaoi, Braum, Yasuo, Ahri, and Pyke.

Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story is a fast-paced rhythm game developed by Choice Provisions. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, GOG.com and Epic Games Store. It is also coming soon to the Netflix mobile app – included with any Netflix membership.

Take on the role of yordle and Hexplosives expert Ziggs as you rampage through the neighborhoods of Piltover. Bomb, bounce, and bop to the beat of the music to avoid obstacles, disarm enemies, and light fuses to achieve maximum chaos. Cause musical mayhem while outrunning no-fun-allowed Heimerdinger in your quest to build the greatest bomb the world has ever seen!

Use the Freestyle Mayhem System to create spontaneous blasts and grab bonus points… all while dodging the fun police and showing them what they’re really missing.
