Just when you thought it was safe to go back onto the obstacle course, Fall Guys goes and gets Doom Costumes.
Coming soon to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a brand new wave of chaos calls for nothing more than the most powerful looking beans available. Fans of Fall Guys will be able to log in and grab a Doom themed costume for their characters from 12 January. Next week and for a limited time grabbing plenty of crowns will unlock a range of skins from iD’s hit hellscape shooter in the most unlikely of crossovers.
Announced just today by publisher Devolver Digital, the upcoming costume additions also have their very own trailer, accompanied by a riff on Mick Gordon’s crushing guitar riffs. We don’t have a great deal of detail outside the trailer, but it appears that there will be at least three different costumes each based on Doom Guy and co. With a Bean clad in the familiar green armor, two more skins appear in the new trailer. One Bean is dolled up as a Pinky and the other seems to be sporting a Cacodemon styled decoration. This might be all we’re going to get, but there isn’t long to wait to find out. Devolver didn’t divulge how many frags, I mean wins, you’ll need to pick up a skin or two but it’s unlikely to be particularly different from other recent additions.
If you haven’t picked up Fall Guys since the addictive Among Us dropped onto Twitch, then this is definitely a good time to pick up the controller and get some crowns under your belt. Hopefully, the arrival of Doom skins won’t have hell trailing after it, or we might actually find out what the poor innocent beans are made of.
