Fans of metal plated policing will be thrilled to learn that Nacon has loaded a demo for Robocop: Rogue City.

Prepare to take firsthand look at Old Detroit with a new demo for Robocop: Rogue City. The upcoming adventure featuring the metal arm of the law just got a new demo over on Steam, ahead of a 2 November release date. The news isn’t all that surprising. With Steam next Fest on the horizon, other titles are getting demos out now and this one is probably of interest to us elder Millennials. Coming in at around 20-30 of play time, the demo gives players a chance to slip into the skull of Alex Murphy and police the hard city streets for a small time.

Robocop: Rogue City is a brand-new narrative that takes place between Robocop 2 and 3. Players will become the iconic part man, part machine and begin an investigation into a shadowy project that is having an impact on the citizens of this iconic town. While that might mean scanning evidence and puzzle solving, it also means applying completely reasonable and entirely adequate force to subdue offenders. Robocop comes with a powerful Auto-9 and 20 weapons that combine with enhanced cybernetics to make sure that opposition are first- and last-time offenders.

The other eighties throwbacks in the Nacon portfolio probably played a role in getting this off the ground, alongside obvious nostalgia. If you’re busy reminiscing now, then you can find out more or pre order Robocop: Rogue City on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox via the official website now.
