Robocop Rogue City Is Coming To PC And Console 2023

Hands in the air punk! Robocop, chrome plated cop form the near future, will return to duty when Robocop Rogue City comes to PC and Console in 2023.

Nacon and Metro Golden Mayer drooped some news today that might make children of the eighties pay attention to the law. The iconic metal arm of the law is about to return to screens when Robocop Rogue City launches in 2023. While this new title is still some time away, Nacon has confirmed at least a few details about the upcoming title.

The new Robocop tale is a new game based on the first three films in the Robocop franchise. There won’t be any mention of the recent remake. While Robocop Rogue City might take place around the original trilogy, Nacon and MGM are set on telling a new tale, putting players in the highly armored shell of Alex Murphy. Now encased in a cyborg body, what remains of Alex will accompany players as they venture into the depths of Detroit.

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with MGM to offer a new vision of a popular franchise that was created over 30 years ago. This game is the perfect fit to pursue our aim of offering different gaming experiences to the widest possible audience,” said Alain Falc, CEO of Nacon.

While there is some reasonable concern that Robocop Rogue City could be nothing more than a cash grab, the new Robocop story is being developed by Teyon, the same studio that managed to successfully set off Judgement Day with Terminator: Resistance. You can check out the trailer for Robocop Rogue City above or head over to the Nacon website to find out more when Robocop Rogue City arrives.
