Rockstar has four big weeks of Red Dead Online activities for players including some holiday cheer in the Old West. From now through early 2022, players can take part in a number of limited-time festive events to get in the mood for the upcoming holidays.
Here’s what’s in store for RDO players:
- Snow and Christmas themes including decorations at Campsites, Moonshine Shacks, and Saint Denis
- Rank restrictions will be lifted for the Double Barrel Shotgun including the Krampus Shotgun Variant from December 14 – January 5
- Trader Sales and Moonshine sales are offering Double RDO$
- All Bounty Missions spot the player Double RDO$ and Role XP
- Seasonal Call to Arms locations are coming from December 21 to January 5. Players will defend Colter, Rhodes, Hanging Dog Ranch, and Emerald Ranch during winter weather with reports of cougars, wolves, and bears
- A Christmas-themed locomotive with gunmen will be arriving at either Rhodes or Emerald Ranch
- Call to Arms is offering Double RDO$ and Character XP
- Make it Count and Last Stand net players Triple RDO$ and XP plus Double Gold
- Gun Rush, Gun Rush Teams, Spoils of War, Up in Smoke, and Overrun hand out Double RDO$, XP, and Gold
- Log in between December 14 and Christmas Day for a Reward for 25 Capitale and a free Accessory
- The Winter Evans Repeater is free to all players from December 14-29
- Log in between December 25-January 5 for 10 sticks of Volatile Dynamite, 20 Fire Arrows, and a Reward for a free Weight Loss Tonic and a Reward to clear a player’s bounty in all states
- Order a drink at a Saloon for a free Good to See Ya emote
- From December 28-January 5, take home a free Winter Shotgun Coat
- New Year Bounty Hunter Bonuses and Rewards will be offered from December 28-January 5
