Psyonix, the San Diego developer behind the motorized mayhem that is Rocket League, just announced a new Knockout Bash event is set to get into gear on 27 April.

Due to kick off on all platforms and cramming plenty of new content in the boot, Rocket League’s upcoming Knockout Bash Event is almost here. The new update will begin on 27 April and run until 10 May, adding a Limited Time Mode game, extra event challenges, and a plethora of Golden Gift Baskets.

The new Knockout LTM puts a total of 8 players in competition with each other. Eager drivers must knock each other off platforms or into Hazards until one player is left standing. You can have a look at what’s in store soon, when the team responsible for going all in on combat drop an Under the Hood’ dev diary.
