Rocket league Sideswipe Season 9 is all go, so you better put the foot down to catch up.
Available right now, the latest update to on-the-go Rocket League is live. Season 9 of the Sideswipe series is now available for mobile gamers. Apple and Android owners can jump into this free to play motorized soccer sim and grab a ton of free goodies as part of the latest round of competition.
Details released on the Sideswipe blog detail the changes coming to the arena this time around. Players starting their engines and looking for a challenge will find the Volleyball Mode is back in play, and in ranked too. The goals are no longer in place. Instead, points are scored by smashing the ball into an opponent’s floor space. This 2v2 game will rotate out when Season 9 is finished, so best practice getting some air.
Loot
Season 9 will drop new and shiny loot in this small screen version of Rocket League. Players will receive Rocket ball inspired banners based on their peak rank during Season 9. These are designed to match the avatars dropped during Season 8. In addition, the in-game shop will see the introduction of the deadly sweet Pink Reaper Goal Explosion, Black Atomic Blip Goal Explosion, and the futuristic Saffron Masamune.
