Rogue Legacy 2 Will Launch April 2022 - Enoch Fight

Cellar Door Games has announced that Rogue Legacy 2 is coming to PC and COnsoles on 28 April 2022.

After years of patiently waiting fans of Rogue Legacy are about to enter a new generation of adventure as Rogue legacy 2 spawns on 28 April 2022. Developer Cellar Door Games just announced the news that this genealogical rogue-lite is set to graduate from Early Access at the end of this month, bringing the latest offspring of this series to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox One X|S platforms.

While that means streaming systems, PlayStation owners, mobile gamers, and Mac enthusiasts might have to keep their fingers crossed the rest of us can expect to see the culmination of 8 months of Early Access development. Building on its predecessor in pretty much every way, Rogue Legacy 2 v1.0 with all-new art, with 2.5D stylings and 3D characters against hand-drawn backdrops. Alongside a new look, there’s a huge array of new weaponry, abilities, and classes. Traits are now tweaked so players can modify them as a run unfolds, while the new Relics feature will twist the way a game plays, adding stat modifiers or providing special abilities at a price.

Like the original Rogue Legacy, this new game still plays into the Metroidvania genre, although kin game modifiers and spooky doorways aren’t the only additions to this series. The newest Rogue Legacy is also set to get improved accessibility. The new House Rules will allow players to toggle contact damage, tweak global damage and health, and even give themselves flight for difficult platform sections. After all, some of us are in it for the game’s rich lore, which you’ll spend more than one run delving into.

With the promise of deeper lore, more ways to play, and improved customization Rogue Legacy 2 might be the perfect way to jump into a well-established series without having to end game at the first boss battle.
