Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition Out Now Nintendo Switch and PC

Frontier Developments is hauling its management simulators out of the prehistoric age as it launches the classic Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch and PC.

Available Now via the Nintendo eShop and the Epic Games Store, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 might not have the gnashing teeth of Frontier’s Jurassic Park Evolution or the cool spaceships of Elite Dangerous but don’t underestimate how enticing a visit to this fairground is. Rollercoaster Tycooon3 is a genre-defining classic, originally hitting PCs back in 2004 this simulation title challenges players to take on the classic build and manage scenario, but now you can do it all over again.

A New WIld Ride

Rolling onto a new platform and an entirely different generation means that Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition gets more than a lick of extra paint. The original title is still set to capture all the magic of the original release but with lush high definition visuals, widescreen support and a completely reworked control system specifically for the Nintendo Switch.

If there’s anything we learned from our initial impressions of Cities Skylines port to Switch, creating a workable control system is one of the most crucial aspects of moving any strategy to console and we’re pretty hopeful that Frontier has the experience to do it justice. Whether you’re grabbing a ride on the crazy train or looping the loop, Roller Coaster Tycoon looks to be an indulgence I can easily justify. Who doesn’t want to be the owner of your own imaginary theme park? If you fancy a ride then check out the Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition trailer now and head over to the official website for more information about the Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition on PC and Nintendo Switch.
