Disney’s Sean Shopaw said, “Electronic Arts has been and will continue to be a very strategic and important partner for us now and going forward. But we did feel like there’s room for others.” And what a room that is!
B.O.B. the Podcast with Bespin Bulletin, Nick Mirfakhraee & Isaac Pevy, revealed that a new Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (SW: KotOR) game is currently in the works but not at the studio that gave life to the previous games of the series. Insiders Shinobi and Jason Schreier participated in a discussion on ResetEra to add that the developer is “not a household name most people are aware of” and “nobody’s going to guess right that’s for sure”.
However, that doesn’t mean that we can ignore EA completely: Respawn Entertainment is already developing the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
