Nintendo’s hybrid console had conquered the world’s market in 2018. Now, Japanese portal Nikkei reports that Nintendo is preparing to release a “more portable” version of Nintendo Switch.
The report states that the new version of the console, dubbed Switch Mini, might be released in 2019. It will be smaller, lighter and cheaper and might have some features of the original disabled, although there are no details on that. Nikkei reports that Nintendo had already started informing stores and developers about their plans in regards to Switch Mini.
Nintendo has yet to react to this rumors. The article also mentions a more expensive version of Nintendo Switch Online, perhaps something similar to PlayStation Plus.
