Nintendo has great news for fans of Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp with the announcement that Sanrio goodies are coming to the mobile game starting March 25th. Anyone of a certain age is well-aware of Sanrio’s titles including Hello, Kitty, Aggretsuko, and Keroppi. The special event will run from March 25th through May 9th and will allow players to collect all sorts of characters and items themed around Sanrio’s games.

From now through the end of the in-game event, players can experience the following additions to the game:
- All players who log in during the event period can receive a free Sanrio Characters clock item by tapping the gift icon.
- Players can redeem Leaf Tickets for one new Sanrio-themed fortune cookie at the Fortune Cookie Shop, with each fortune cookie providing players one of 10 different Sanrio items.
- Players will be able to craft Sanrio gifts to send to their friends, which randomly reward friends with one of several special Sanrio character-themed uchiwa fans. There are a variety of fans to collect featuring fan-favorite Sanrio characters, including Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, Aggretsuko, and many more!
Players will also be able to collect “cute rewards” based on Sanrio characters from in-game events of the past. For instance, some of the 2019 goodies making a comeback include Hello, Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars, Keroppi, Cinnamoroll, and Pompompurin. The team has plans to reveal more in the coming weeks.
