Scarf, the charming new platformer from Handygames, is out today, just in time for the festive season.
Available on PC, Scarf is a wholesome new platform adventure from THQ subsidiary Handygames and developer Uprising Studios. Available on Steam, GoG, and Epic storefronts, this heart warming tale of exploration and discovery will wrap its threads around your heart and suck players into a colorful new quest. Taking plenty of inspiration from titles like Rime, Lost Ember, and other classics Scarf is a single-player adventure that finds a nameless avatar thrust out into the wild, all to help a lost creature find its mother. Your task, together with this dragon-shaped Scarf, is to follow the souls who stole the keys to the portal back home.
Along the way, plenty of extraordinary sights and ingenious puzzles will slow things down. While bright backdrops and extraordinary vistas make up some of the many biomes, players will need to think their way through a range of environmental puzzles. While the effort required might gradually increase, players getting to know their Scarf will have a helping hand. The lost youngster provides plenty of utility during play, adding abilities such as the glider, the double jump, and the liana to a journey.
With a strong narrative focus, a rich mythology, and a gorgeous soundtrack backing this tale, we’ve already spent our Christmas cash on Scarf. Check out the launch trailer above for more on this joyful romp and find out more over on the official Scarf website now.
