Scorn is an Xbox Series X Exclusive

Scorn looks set to scare the wits out of gamers but it looks like Xbox Series X owners get to hide behind the sofa first when it arrives as an exclusive.

We’ve been waiting on more information on this upcoming horror release from Ebb Software since we heard about the Kickstarter or Scorn back in 2017. Things might have been kind of quiet but the scary experience turned up in last night’s Xbox Series X Stream a with a bit more information about the release of the title. We now know that Scorn is not only set to launch but that it will arrive first on the Xbox Series X as a launch during its launch period.

A New Twisted Turn

While the game’s official website has, until now, described the game as coming to Xbox and PC, with a Steam Store listing in place for some time, it is likely to come to these platforms after an initial launch period on the new team green console. The Xbox Series X event yesterday showed off a bunch of footage of this scary looking new experience with a new trailer including some of the challenges on offer. The Geiger-esque horror aesthetic drags players into a claustrophobic underworld populated with misshapen organic forms. With no help and no obvious enemy to fight, players must make their way through the non-linear nightmare of interconnected spaces dripping with unnamed fluids. With only your senses and instinct to guide you, Scorn plays heavily on your fear of the unseen enemy. Thre is escape if you can use the range of new skills and weapons to solve a range of puzzles and escape the underworld.

Check out the monstrously long peek above and check out more about Scorn at the official website now. For even more titles featured during the Xbox Series X event check out Gamesapce today.
